Ursinus College

Twenty Ursinus College students have been selected to serve as APEX Ambassadors for the spring 2026 semester. APEX Ambassadors are trained upperclass students who work closely with academic and career coaches to support first-year students in APEX 050 and 051 and assist with APEX events throughout the semester.

Ursinus College is proud to recognize academic excellence by naming high achieving students to the Fall 2025 Provost's List. This prestigious honor recognizes full-time students who have achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher and is a testament to students' dedication to academic excellence.

Adam Denn of Newark, Del., was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association. Denn serves as sports editor for the Ursinus College Grizzly.

Seniors Mel Eglinton, Reena Robinson, Lexi Couch, and Erin Dychdala have earned Academic All-District honors by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Senior football players Jordan Carr and Deane Leader, along with junior Tristan Machado were named to the 2025 PhillySIDA Academic All-Area team, which is compiled of Division I, II, and III players.

A team of Ursinus College students won first place in America250PA's Direct Effect Innovation Challenge (DEIC) in November. The DEIC is a three-round marketing challenge that gives students from colleges and universities across the Commonwealth the chance to design and launch a marketing campaign for America250PA, the official Pennsylvania Commission for the United States' 250th anniversary in 2026. The competition has taken place annually since 2019, engaging nearly 400 students from over 40 institutions across Pennsylvania. This is the second Ursinus College team to take home first-place in the last three years.
